Meet Our Team
Polina Melamud, MSN, APRN, ACNP-BC
Polina originally earned her Nursing Degree in Russia. After moving to the United States, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Hartford and a Master’s in Nursing Science at the University of Connecticut. Polina is a member of the American Urological Association and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Prior to joining Pregenzer Urology, she spent over 16 years working at Hartford Hospital, with the last 10 years working as a Nurse Practitioner in Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and Nephrology group.
Polina has a special interest in patient education, preventative care, and nutrition. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, outdoors, and yoga.
Lindsey Petrangelo, MSN, RN, FNP
Lindsey attended Westfield State College and received her Bachelor of Science in Movement Science in 2006. She later went on to get her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with American International College and worked as an RN in medical surgical unit, hospice, outpatient oncology, endocrine and neuroscience units.
She continued her education with American International College to complete her Master of Science in Nursing in 2020.
Lindsey is also a personal trainer and enjoys being active, traveling and spending time with her family. She brings a sense of humor and a caring heart to our practice.
Lindsey will be seeing patients in our Enfield office.
Elayna Lindblom, MSN, RN, FNP-C
Elayna attended University of Connecticut where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Hartford Hospital on the Neurology floor where she learned that she wanted to continue her education to become an advanced practitioner.
Elayna completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Saint Joseph in 2020 and is ready to begin her journey in urology.
In her spare time Elayna enjoys teaching dance and volunteering in various environments. She brings a strong sense of compassion and kindness to our practice.
Elayna will be seeing patients in Enfield and West Hartford offices.
Suzanne Brownell, A.S, B.S, RTR, RDMS, RVT
Suzanne is a registered sonographer with four national certifications in Abdomen, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Vascular, and Breast. She completed her Radiologic Technology certification from Mount Sinai Hospital in Hartford. She completed several of her Ultrasonography certifications from Windham Community Memorial Hospital in Willimantic, CT, studied at Eastern Connecticut State University and Burwin Institute in Manitoba, Canada. Suzanne earned her Associate of General Studies from Manchester Community College and her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration/HIM from Southern New Hampshire University.
She is a member of The Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS), The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
A committed sonographer with 27 years of experience, an investigative curiosity, a serving heart, and a strong desire to solve the problem, is what drives her to provide the very best care possible.
In her spare time, Suzanne enjoys spending time with family and friends and experiencing adventures in the outdoors by glamping, hiking, cycling, and jet-skiing. Her other interests are gardening, watercolor artistry, and playing guitar at her local church. She has been married for 27 years and has 2 children and an adored cat named Fin.
Rachel Abbe, Medical Secretary
I’m sure most of you have talked to me at some point, whether that’s on the phone directing your inquiries or while exchanging information during the check-in process.
Hi, I’m Rachel. I am Pregenzer Urology’s Medical Secretary. You may be asking what does that mean? For me, it means that I am able to get you familiar with all things related to our office. This can include answering various questions about what types of services we provide, familiarizing you with the staff here at PU or simply, making you rest assured, that you are always in good hands.
Although I am still fairly new to Urology, I am no stranger to the medical field. After quite some time in Pediatrics, the change to Urology has kept me challenged. The best part of working in the medical field for me has and will always be patient contact. I’m a patient myself and will always treat you like I would want to be treated.
Keeping me busy outside of my job is my son Jack and our dog, Abbie. You can always catch us outside playing a round of horse at the basketball hoop or taking weekends away camping.
Bonnie Hutchison, Medical Scribe
Bonnie completed a degree in Mortuary Science in 2013 and went on to study Pathobiology at UConn. Bonnie has been a medical scribe for Dr. Pregenzer since 2017. Although quiet and inconspicuous, Bonnie is committed to providing thorough documentation of patient visits. Her favorite pastimes include touring breweries, studying German, and hiking with her giant dog, Rumple.
